Our 10 yard heavy use dumpster can hold up to 20,000 pounds of debris. The remaining dumpsters are all for general household and construction debris. Our 40 yard dumpster can hold up to 8,000 pounds, and the 30 yard dumpster can hold up to 6,000 pounds. The 20 yard open-top rental can hold up to 4,000 pounds of refuse, or we have a 2,000 pound option in the same size. Our 15 yarder and our 10 yarder can also hold up to 2,000 pounds of refuse.

What should I know about filling the dumpsters?  Regardless of the refuse type, we ask that you are filling the dumpsters evenly throughout. This means that neither end of the waste container is going to be filled more than the other. When it comes time to load the units back onto our flatbed, it is important that all of the refuse is loaded evenly in the dumpster. We have a door on each unit that can be utilized to help you keep the refuse spread evenly. If you have any questions about filling your dumpster, don’t hesitate to ask.

Are there filling requirements based on refuse type?  There are. We ask that you keep in mind the type of refuse you are disposing of when you are filling the dumpster. For example, general household and construction debris can be loaded until the refuse is level with the height of the walls. Anything higher than this and by law we would not allowed on the road with this dumpster. Make sure that when viewing the dumpster across the top, all the refuse should come level to or just below the dimensions of the waste container.

What about heavy debris?  When you are disposing of heavy debris, we ask that you are not filling the dumpster more than halfway up the height of the walls. Anything more than halfway and the dumpster would be too heavy for us to load back onto the flatbed. This is due to the incurred weight of the substances. Another thing to remember when it comes to heavy debris, please do not mix various types. This means that concrete and sand, or dirt and asphalt are not allowed to be mixed together in the same dumpster. If you are going to be disposing of more than one type of heavy debris, please rent your dumpsters accordingly and make sure you have enough units to handle the job.
